What is POET or POETAF?

POET or POETAF refers to some the additional attributes required from Project Portfolio Management (PPM) subledger functionality in Oracle ERP.
P = Project #, O = Financial/HR unit, E = Expenditure Type (Account), T = Task #, and for externally awarded projects the A = Award #, and F = Fund are also required

When are POET and/or POETAF required for financial transactions?

These values are required whenever a user is expensing against a Project value referenced in the attached ‘Project Types’ PowerPoint Hand out
BobCat Buy is currently the only platform that requires the POET and/or POETAF attributes
